Announcing Voidrunner: Eclipse — Our Most Ambitious Game Yet
Today we pull back the curtain on Voidrunner: Eclipse, a high-velocity action roguelite set in a galaxy caught mid-supernova. Here is everything we can share.
By Broxy Games Team
The Eclipse begins
For the past two years, a small strike team inside Broxy Games has been quietly building something different. Today we can finally say its name out loud: Voidrunner: Eclipse, a high-velocity action roguelite coming to PC, PlayStation and Xbox in 2027.
What is Voidrunner: Eclipse?
You are a Runner — one of the last — diving into the Umbra Belt, a star system consumed by a slow-motion supernova. Every dive is a procedurally collapsing gauntlet where speed is your strongest weapon. Dashes, wall-runs and kinetic strikes flow into one continuous combat language.
What makes it different:
- A living antagonist. The Eclipse studies how you play and mutates sectors, elites and anomalies to counter your favorite tactics.
- 120+ void augments that stack into wild, build-defining synergies.
- Halcyon station, a persistent home base you rebuild between dives, survivor by survivor.
Why a roguelite?
Because it is the genre where our design values — player-first systems, long-term support and replayability — matter most. We have been prototyping the momentum combat loop for over a year, and internal playtests convinced us: this is the game we want to be known for.
What happens next
Closed playtests begin in 2026, starting with our Discord community. Wishlist the game on Steam, join the Discord, and follow the dev blog — we will be building this one in the open.
See you in the Belt, Runners.
