Own core combat systems on Voidrunner: Eclipse — momentum movement, ability chaining and the augment stacking framework.
What you'll do
- Design and implement combat and movement systems in Unreal Engine 5 (C++).
- Collaborate daily with designers on rapid gameplay prototyping.
- Profile and optimize for 60fps on console-class hardware.
- Mentor mid-level engineers through code review and pairing.
What you'll bring
- 5+ years of professional game programming, 2+ shipping with Unreal Engine.
- Strong C++ and a deep feel for game-feel: input latency, animation blending, camera.
- At least one shipped action title you are proud of.
- Bonus: experience with roguelite or procedural systems.
